Albirex champions in singapore football

The football season has come to an end, after watching the match between Albirex and Hougang, the champions are again the Japanese.

This has been said many times, nothing much has changed, what has to be said has been said.

The only good thing is that people are still following local football, it may be the old fans or they might even be watching less, but support is still there for football.

The Hougang supporters and I saw some stags fans, i should join them the hools or stags to try out singing the songs, maybe hangout to see what type of people, the real person behind all these football supporting.

That might be on a to do list for the new year, one new goal set.

I hope and wish all readers not just football, all sports to find or set a new goal, learn a new sport or start a new supporters club, that will being new hope for the coming year.

I wish all singapore football clubs a great and smooth year ahead.

Local movie Number 1 wins Best Makeup and Costume Design at Golden Horse Awards 2020

Mark lee and friends have made singapore proud, mister azni samdin and Raymond kuek who are the designers for their best makeup and costume design.

The trailer part below shows how good is the design, all the details, singapore and the region has talent.

All the best to the two winners, The movie scene has more to say then the sports news around this region. I have watched many movies this 2 months, this number 1 is now in cinemas, a 5 out of 5 stars movie, sure must watch.

Also a lot of movies are coming out, I have watched some, a lot are good ones, foreign or even local, please support your local cinema, if not the economy will not recover, I decide to go out more often because this covid might cause a lot of events for all sectors, therefore I urge all readers to support this local movie, check your local listings.

S'pore footballers too comfy, mentality change needed to progress

An article has spoken, I guess not many people care, even those who are playing in the league.

https://www.straitstimes.com/sport/football/spore-footballers-too-comfy-mentality-change-needed-to-progress-sailors-coach?fbclid=IwAR0xA_DvsHTCfDSIqPGX3AE7H_IeSJayQzh9La4o8PRuWBNyPPb_I9vIsuQ

I said before, the coach has said it, all points are clear.

No need to repeat, maybe it is time to watch more movies, I hope and wish all who are reading this, thank you, perhaps time to change to more of a movie review of sorts.

The tunnel

I watch a movie from Norway, titled the tunnel, I paid money for this, I never watch films from them normally.

A good film, the trailer is above, the trailer shows most of the things, but some scenes are just set up nice.

Please go and support this movie, a direct movie I would say it, a simple story to understand with some twists.

4 out of 5 stars, I would never have thought films from Norway could be great to watch, refreshing for some reason.

Movies from the states or India are ones to watch, now even china and others are catching up, I will like to watch more genres, any director reading this, create more movie of not just action, but romance even comedy storylines for the masses to watch, like a mister bean but not from the English speaking world or any movie producing countries.

A movie from Mexico about funny stuff would be a real idea to consider for a theme, I do not hear movies from Africa much, but seem some short clips. A action science fiction would be truly amazing.

I think I will watch an asian film next, not much news about football in general, the Thai league has started, leagues will start soon around the world. More entertainment will be resuming, just support them when they do start, sports or movies.

I'm Livin' It

I watch a movie recently, a good one, I am loving it. I mean the title of the movie is i'm living it.

A Hong Kong movie about poor people living a hard life, a good look into what is going on in real life.

A person who lost it all, from an investor to a vagrant, to even a young girl with her mother.

I have seen pictures from news agencies, videos not much, but this film offers alot of insights and shows how they are living day to day in reality.

The most striking part is that, even a young person, under 10 is able to understand the hardships, the level of innocent is lost or should I say matured beyond her age. This scene hit me, the unity of people under crisis, the solidarity and also when misfortune falls onto a fellow human being is discouraging, mixed feelings.

Hong Kong movies are good, but watching them as I was growing up, I learnt alot about values and life, but since 10 years or more ago, things change for the worst.

I spent money on this, I will support the arts, commercial arts that is, maybe next is a Japanese or european film, catch this one everyone, a good view about life in general in Hong Kong for the poor.

The Eight Hundred

I have just watched this movie titled the eight hundred, it is a great movie. The trailer is shown in the above link.

The movie is about the war during Japanese invasion of china, the movie shows some stuff but not all is real, as a history person, some parts are sensationalise for the viewing of the general public.

But some thoughts are, a Great War movie from china is Nanjing Nanjing, I saw the Japanese solider in this film. He does not fit the role well.

Next is that the effects, all are on point, some parts felt bit weird, I would say is the screenplay, the scene selection, other than that everyone should watch it, it will be a nice film for entertainment.

What I felt as a person in the theatre is that, in the hearts of people who put their hope and own lives for the sake of the country. Where are such people in the world, not many people are.

A scene felt real to my bone, the soldiers are the real people of china.

In life, some are cowards, some are crazy, but in the end, some fulfil the orders that they are given. Such is the honour of human beings, a movie can share and tell so much in just a few hours.

I will like to thank the people who sacrifice one's life for someone or something, would you lay down your life for the country?

Is football a career or just a past time?

It has been a long time since I started this blog, i have talked about many things, sports mainly still.

In singapore, is sports a career option or just a sport that you do once a week?

I hope and believe that it is the other option but today, it is nothing.

The digital world is the future, for those who can afford it, singapore is rich, the country can spend money.

Playing online is more exciting than watching in real life, the shouting, the smell and the fun is all gone.

Perhaps it is time to move on, totally from the field.

History tells a lot, but again it is written by the winners, losers never get to say much.

I certainly hope that for singapore maybe another swimmer schooling or runner rui yong.

In the end, many people can try so hard but still yet so far, in the end, what matters, maybe only yourself, your honour, your whatever that means to you.

If anyone is reading this, right at the end, for sports or any goal to achieve it you have to put in effort, time and many more to get it, do not give up on your dreams.

Ex-Singapore National Football Coach Douglas Moore joins the Dream Team in a 25-Year Reunion chat

The above video says it all, the team still is a strong team, a point from from the seniors is that, the juniors were given a chance to play.

The coach was a unifying figure if that is a word, a fatherly person. The players said the same thing.

The bad things, now is not the time to say, I hope that the coach can come down and have a sharing session, the hard truths I would say, in person in Singapore, that event would be a history that football lovers should come to see.

T - 34

Long time I have never seen a nice movie, here is a movie titled t - 34 a Russian movie about tanks.

The trailer is already well made, seldom do I hear about Russian movies, I found about this movie a long time ago but I still have not watch it in full because I am unable to find a dvd in English version.

I found but in Chinese, I hope Russia or whoever the film maker sells the copyright to in Asia, please do a English dudded or subtitles, I will buy, years since I buy a dvd but this looks like a great maybe even considered a outstanding movie that can fight with the worlds best movies.

Anyone who has a link or knows where to buy one with English please reach out to me, the funny thing is all I hear about Russia is the USSR, russian sports and most importantly Putin. If any Russian movie I will support, I hope more t - 34, maybe even movies about Russian life of villains or normal people.

For everyone out there, watch this movie trailer, it looks damn interesting.

Singapore atrium sale on facebook

If a good page that reflects Singaporean nature in style, no doubt this page named Singapore atrium sale is the one for the win. The link is shown below.

The page shown sales and plentiful good deals, mostly sharing by fellow readers or like minded viewers.

From plants to shoes at good prices. for worldwide and those in Singapore, this is a page that you must see for yourself.

The person who administer the page should be given a two thumbs up for his or her effort, the page is one that I always see to check and get up to date information on the ground. Thank you for putting in the time and hard work, just give it a look now and see the great stuff going around the stores and shops, perhaps get one thing for yourself to try, also to spend money and move the economy, now is the time.

A lion that flew away, Sirina camara

A lion that got away, this article written by soccer kakis is a good example of how the football scene has been like for a while.

First I will like to thank mister bolasepako for putting my views on his facebook page, out of a sudden I have readers from Singapore, seldom I have that.

Enough of blattering, later become like money face, no pun intended. As long as you are a person or a fan, you have the right to say something, if you have done nothing, you are guilty.

Now for the lion that flew away, camara, I have look and read the piece, it says that he was willing to play for singapore, I am happy to say you deserve more.

I remember he play with the big teams. there was some mistake, local players also do something wrong when the pressure is high, normal.

On the other hand, he has speed, sense of urgency, this point which most players lack in singapore is a big point, a worry that has many implications.

No need to state them all out, but one that has always been lacking, not discipline or eagerness, but one of not willing to listen, not wanting to learn more. sure that they always push, as a player I guess only some do, for example going overseas to play or at least try even you are not a glam player in the national team. Try for a lower league to gain experience, then maybe move towards a higher one.

At the end of the day, the choice is their own, if I am a player I will just want a good salary and play my football. Times have now changed, unless the environment changes as well that is.

Lions city sailors with a new approach

Lions city sailors has come up with a new idea to put Singapore football on the world map, or should I say it is just another idea.

Here is the post below.

My take is that, it is just another idea. The stuff that is indicate is very similar to most other programs. The pathway is the same.

The issue is still not solved, manpower, many people have stressed that is the key to success in football.

No matter how hard you train them, if there is no future for them which is about money, we are not in the glory days, those are long gone.

Not just that the league is gone, we are now nothing, a new low, no, the only good thing is that the names of some good formers players are in the coaching section, they have a lot to give still.

Finally, elite, I saw the word elite, why are they still using elite, can our so called elite players win even Thailand, perhaps they should wake up their idea, even Malaysia is better than us in their youth management.

Sometimes I do wonder are people choosing to be blind or are they wayang only. Not much news of sorts, maybe it is time to write about other stuff, sports in Singapore is not moving in the right direction as a whole.

Goal 2034 ? manage the league properly first

Goal 2010, goal 2034, goal 2100, all these are words, nothing more.

The solutions are easy to solve the problem, just do it. A scheme, I wrote about this along time ago, Japan had a 100 year plan. Singapore should follow, no.

Just a layman will also understand, e sports is all the rage in singapore, sports has been lost, more youngsters are playing games, not football or other sports in general.

It is impossible for Singapore to be at World Cup level for as long as the trend of sports is going down.

The league is just a Sunday league, the important matters are still not adjusted. Lack of will, many for show talents in charge.

If singapore cannot support 3 tiers of football, just 2 will do. No young lions, just 8 teams per level, done.

Club permits should be issued only if they fulfil the requirements, from money to having managers, coaches and players, if able to meet afc standard, the rules are all listed, just follow.

Top tier should be all teams operating like business, I just write about this only, the 2nd level should be just anyone can register and play as long as they meet the requirements.

FAS just to operate as a gatekeeper and lend the location, I wonder what is wrong always, from there I understand all is wrong.

Adjust simple to do, even if cannot 2 tiers, just one, is anyone listening.

The truth is we cannot even win Malaysian football, that was not the case years ago, talk about World Cup, some people are living in their dreams. One even said that we should go back to Malaysian league, that is an option but only for the Singapore football scene itself to decide.

Some people cannot handle the truth, I have done my part, by writing, I cannot be a player, time gone for me, just an observer by the side.

Maybe Kpop style of management will work for Singapore football

The death of Singapore football has been set in stone. What is the next big thing ?

Either a radical change in direction or just go back to 1994.

But a cool idea is that the Kpop cadet scheme, in Korea a group of young people are given the huge task of trying to be stars. Drawing inspiration from that system, which may work.

First the potential students just come, or in some agency go for an audition, if you are selected you are in so to speak, this can be one way of doing things, with limited man power and less resources, it is best this way, only the fittest survive, anyway only the elite should play.

We are talking about professional football, salaries should be at 5000 dollars, it is only right to select the top and performing ones only. strictly we should only aim for 20 plus players only for an age group.

If they are at a high level like running at 7 mins pace for 2.4 km, the standard should be at Thai or the maybe even the chinese level. Potential talents could be recruited from grassroots session or scouted on the streets.

The fun part is here, talents for Kpop are just grab from the streets, yes simple as that. We should scout for tall players for centre backs, long limbs for the goal, most essentially the midfielders, at least 1.75 and above with agility.

Invite players like for a dialogue session, where no stings approach, meaning once signed at a young age, you are just like an employee, grading sessions per week or month until you reach 18 or debut.

All football club should just operate like business similar to Kpop style, it was done before, venga time. The business should only take up the task of creating talent as part of business. No bullshit, a brand image and identity should be trademarked, like what SM entertainment has done, for a while it was manage not in a correct manner, but after having a ceo, a cfo with a operations director it became a lucrative industry.

Next even list or an ipo, export should be the norm, no local glory, only money, with a real huge pay check then it becomes a career or you can be star, not a person who is unknown or even disrespected by the public.

The scene is gone for sure, nail in the coffin, more dead than dead, after watching a school boy vs a well planned and mature adult, I am saying the Singapore league against the Thai League.

I am writing this as I cannot sleep, maybe even the little left good things are going to stop for football once and for all.

The Singapore government does not interfere with the football sports association

The Singapore ministry does not support or care which is correct and 100 per cent well done. The article from the newspaper, link below is the best news so far from this land so far this year.

Sports is not link to the popular vote, it is no concern at all, first is always economy, that is right, but the thing is for Singapore, I doubt it is from free will, it has most from. pressure from Fifa perhaps. Many comments on facebook, nothing to share, some valid of course, views like the committee must leave if they are unable to achieve the goal.

One thing is for sure, the management must fall if they fail to achieve the goals. For me give credit when they earn it. Not begging, money for the households who are really needy, father in jail with young kids to care for or the old who have no work, spend money on this is better. I feel that the people on top, the rulers seem to be listening.

I guess they are scare they lose power or simply become nothing, from history, most powers do not stay long, a question of when the time comes.

A word of advise for the football association, if you are something, prove it, get sponsors, not wayang all the way. If you can achieve the goal, it means you really have amazing ability of management.

However in reality, football died many years ago, for me when the sleague changed name. Officially that is, since then in real life things have been going down.

For the readers in Singapore which I think are rare, for seniors, age 65, gyms are free, this is another great news and well done Singapore government. Actually public pools, running tracks all these should be free for seniors above 60 and below for reasons of health, 65 is too late.

I had an idea that, void decks could be used for gyms or running tracks, is anyone reading, or if possible gyms and tracks at specific location open for 24 hours like anytime fitness for all to use, put a cctv for live view to check for usage and security issues.

Tanjong Pagar United hold Lion City Sailors to a 1-1 draw review

It is my first time watching online the new brand league in Singapore, football that is.

The details, I look for facebook about the league, it was 7.45pm on a Friday. The stream had problems, from one system to another, lagging that is, serious lag until I saw mirror images, maybe it was my com but for a top of the line MacBook I doubt that.

Then it was a technical problem, now for the bad parts. First the font was wrong, I saw a name that was long, the number over lap with the words.

Two, the stream is like not just lagging, issues of quality also seem to happen every now and then, this is a local stream, servers issues I guess. From sound to control, I hear someone on the background from time to time.

Thirdly, the host seem to be talking in a manner like they did not do their homework or are on pills. When you compare a few years ago with dez or the lady it has less quality and flair. I guess they are not experienced enough.

The speed has gone 50% down at least, no wonder many people call it a Sunday league. We now now confirm bottom of south east Asia. The crowd is for real or fake, how many are playing money, I guess not many.

The fitness also is down, confirm by the coaches, enough of the bad stuff.

Now for the good stuff, The photos seen to be updated, that is good. I mean like close to real time.

Next is that tiong Bahru is back, they scored first, which is good, good entertainment.

The camera angles are refreshing, a home ground look, that I like.

Alam shah is back, I like him, he is real, he seem to have alot of white hair, hard to manage a team which is just formed.

The players work hard, some that is, the young or small guy in red, please stop holding your enemy, win with pride. A word of advise build up your skills, A Korean is just like you if not more lousy, he was damn blur a long time ago, learn from his footsteps to grow.

The referee is on the ball, good job.

The funny thing is that the guest speaker is more better than the host, amusing. Maybe because he was a better player.

Most importantly I see people watching by the fence, from sitting behind the car to a family strolling past with their child, I am so happy to see that. I believe more than 1500 watch on one system. Please put on more channels, free for all in Singapore, do you understand.

Overall a good try, to whom is manning the fronts, you have done a ok job, a pass. I might watch another watch online again.

Management in sports

In sports, for example football, a person called the manager controls the players.

But in Singapore, someone above the manager is where everyone reports too.

This has being going on for years, I believe as of today nothing has changed.

Nothing more shall be discussed, all has been said.

How many owners are fully true to the sports, as of today in the world not many.

Plenty of admirers but no real love, fake love mostly, nah it is just love for money, fame and more, but not love for the sports.

The point of today is that many promises that was made to the players were broken, lies, even lack of communication, perhaps lack of awareness, most think they are above all.

A great leader knows who to pick, whom to not pick, this is where they have done wrong, most pick wrongly.

This top down approach is causing harm, down the slippery slope of no return, a bottomless abyss.

Players should have seen this, plan your exit plan once you are in the team, which I think most lack, please for your own sake do plan for your future. I see some who have fate in the system which is simply living in a fantasy.

Singapore arts scene vs Singapore sports scene

Between arts and sports in Singapore which is the more good, I believe the better one is still sports.

The arts, meaning real arts should be little to none, without any money, most would have be gone, only true blue people into whatever they are doing will stand.

In sports, I know of some, seen it, like monthly cycling with a group of like minded individuals, just yourself, I have seen them on the roads, sometimes at the northern parts, some at central, some in the east, all over the island.

I wonder are they the same group, a huge group that is, about 20 and above, next is the skateboarders, from young to old, a small group, here and there over the island but still have.

More examples but no need to share so much, even the sepak takraw or amateur boxing. For my point of view is because sports is more easy to do and is part of life, you have to move to be alive, it has to be a part of your life if not you will die. Some for a healthy lifestyle, some to maintain weight and so on.

For arts, I seldom see any free events, mostly partnership with the government groups or companies. I know of rap battles among the youngsters in Singapore and some photographers but this is more of a one person interest or for project work for school.

Bedroom disc jockeys or writing and drawing on your own I guess. I have seen drawing on the streets before, I guess it is more for school work, unlikely for the true artsy part of yourself. Taking photos of car models is not art, for your own selfish desire mostly.

Most arts will have to work to survive or do some part time work, real artist who solely create art should have become extinct in Singapore, after reaching for art some would have given up or move aboard.

For example, an artist move to Thailand and manage to live off work there for a while, with the help of friends, a great surprise as a Thai would welcome a Singaporean person and help.

Many painters or poets would have passed on or forced to do arts for money already. To be fair it is simply undobale to be doing what you love only in Singapore.

Most sports still can be done, you just have to do it, from running to skateboarding. because it is life, life is sports, arts can live without for sure. Seldom I hear from people that say life is art, life is an art have but little.

I am writing this not to argue or to prove a point, this is how it is like in Singapore.

Finding talent in sports

Finding people to do sports can be a huge task in singapore, whereby manpower is at a low stage in time.

Most people do not want to do sports, the physical type that is, with the rise of e sports, another world of sports is going to be the trend.

Firstly in Singapore with less people, birth rate is lowering a a speed which I do not know when will stop, therefore nothing much we can do about it.

Secondly, the mindset, in Singapore the people who want to exercise is at a level of quality is low as well, thus another point proven.

Thirdly, the environment, like I said before, e sports is all the rage, the next wave, the trend, we cannot stop the rising tide.

Fourthly in Singapore in particular, it is a business which most people or should I say people in charge do not understand, football or soccer is a business, this is not the 1950s where is it fully a sport.

We can go on, no need for that.

One last point, we do not need go for a a talent identification module to see talent, the gift or flair of a player or person is always in the brain. If he or she does not have the will, even he has a 1.9 metre frame with no mindset of winning, where does the hunger come from, inside or outside, it is again 100 per event from inside.

Forcing will not do any good, this is not war. This is not a fault finding post, this is the truth, and a trend is that those sports like floor ball, dodgeball whereby not many nations are playing or not that popular, seem to be having a time.

Of course these not popular sports will rise, it is because those people could not play in the popular sports they like, they just want to fulfil their own dreams and goals. There are many selffish people around, in this situation it is very hard for talent, I mean real talent in mindset to even grow.

Some have left, some will stay, all for their own reasons. Sports in Singapore will never rise or achieve a gold medal consitently, that said, remember 100 per cent local, born, bred, live and dead in Singapore, low chance.

In short Singapore sports cannot be a liveable vocation, we are not the United States or even Thailand, I am sure many people will agree with me, from New York to Bangkok.

For the potential sports people in Singapore, or anyone in this world, unless you have a great support system in place for you to do sports, you should only live your own life for yourself period, true to void deck boy style, ownself check ownself.

Bikeman

Bikeman is a Thai movie, some funny parts, some are just plain dramatic, it was release a few months ago.

Those who want to kill some time can watch this show, it is a simple film to understand. The trailer is below.

And for the football part, Thai League has started, they have the VAR thing going on, live streams and matches on youtube and many more, Those who like to just try to watch what south East Asian football is like, can take a look.

I saw some Singaporeans faces which is good, more to go, thanks to the Thai League and whoever is making the decisions, the Thai League has improve alot, now it is the king of leagues in south east Asia. I hope the Thai League grows more, if I have the time I will go down to Bangkok or where to watch a league match and support the thais for doing a good job.

Where in the world is woodlands wellington football club

Woodlands wellington, the rams, what an old name in Singapore football.

With such great heritage became nothing, the last I saw there was a facebook page, even a club at around bras basah area a few years back.

Can someone or anyone answer me where in the world is this football club, I remember a long time ago, the club is suppose to be back.

This is what happens in local football, mismanagement I would label it.

There you go, history, I wonder what worst things will happen in Singapore football.

Singapore league on free to air tv ?

The football league is screen live on the internet, but in Singapore this year there are people who are interested but they do not have a connection to the internet.

Perhaps the management could have thought of that, in reality, not many people are connected to the internet so to speak, mobile is still the rage, many people are still using prepaid cards without internet ability.

living on the bare minimum, can they set up a sports Channel just to show Singapore sports, yes strictly only Singapore, no bullshit overseas stuff, it can be tai chi for elders or children running around to do their sports day, not just show nationals, even inter poly and yes esports as well, contest of a local held in nature is fine.

you do not need alot of money or manpower to do that, just a click, I remember watching the league games online by a local sports provider, I can even watch him click on his program, that is real, that I like.

if you do not want to do it on a national scene since no money, then do it on youtube, I am sure there are some, like sg sports tv, good job done.

But why are they not on national tv? money again, no need for 24 hours free, just show sports only, yes when events are live, local flavour that is it.

Mister Adnan saidi

As a Singaporean, the name of adnan saidi is an honour to mention, he is a solider who give up his life for the country.

Today is the day he sacrifice himself for all free man. It is the spirit that lives on today, till the end of time.

His name will live on forever and not just him, all who have their young lives taken away by defending this land.

I believe that he understood and fully known that he will perish in the hands of the enemy yet he signed up for it.

Mister adnan saidi i salute you.

The end of the league in Singapore, totally ?

Just as I predicted, a long time ago, the end of Singapore football, totally unlikely but today it has come to an end of sorts in some areas.

A club has become private, perhaps good, it has only bad things to come, problems, issues and more with operations and stuff.

I wonder how did it come to this direction, of course the useless management.

We are not Malaysia, the state teams will forever be there, rebranding or otherwise, they have land, people and most important money, no need for even outside hot money sometimes.

Never forget how they are still, regressing at a top level, jdt lost the game against a top team from the Japanese league, maybe they did have a masterclass given from a former Spain national. They think they are improving but no need for big things like facts or numbers, the only team to make progress to the world stage is maybe Vietnam in Southeast Asia, not Thailand not any country with pure blood and essentially results, I hope maybe Burma can rise again after a long sleep to fight for pride for Southeast Asia.

Yes some may argue how to do it with pure blood, the coaches are local, no need for that, it is very simple, learn from the top teams, if it is useful, use it, if not throw is away, the coaches can make a difference, but the on field players are the most important, Vietnam become strong not become of the coach but the players, but they are not at top level, they are still one level below top teams from Asia when you compare to Japan or with Iran.

Honestly Singapore should just have one team, no need for a scholar to know that, but the damage has been done.

The honour of having pride in this country was lost with the dream team, the writers jinx it all.

The lions roar will never happen again, and here is where the news came first for the readers of the world, Singapore sports is a good model for failure and those who will like to study that can google or come down for your news channel or studies.

On the supporters side, I salute again the hardcore, from the aunties and uncles to the youngsters who with their bodies and voices, day after day who do go down to watch the games.

Times have change alot of things, maybe it is time to play Fifa 20 on the playstation 4.

Pilot study to drop selection trials for CCA

In a post not long ago, I spoke about sports is for all, I guess it finally sets in for Singapore.

This should be done like 30 years ago, it is 30 years too late, most importantly at all levels not just primary.

From the point of creating a base or for whatever purpose, for me, it is the purpose of creating a sporting lifestyle for everyone, this in turn also makes the people more healthy in the scope of physical aspect, while the mental aspect also works as more people are included and not left out because there are not selected on the basis of no skill and more.

Winning for the school or medals are useless, unless you want to win a asian games medal or at world games level. Singapore cannot even win at gold level for any popular sport, even if you train in Singapore it it highly unlikely, proven in Singapore for many years, one hit wonders do not apply.

If one day Singapore becomes like Brazil, a sports culture or even like Thailand, then something like constant results will come, till that day, the most urgent point is to create a base for all to play.

The individual can only do so much, perhaps the next step is to allow homegrown talent to grow not in the sport, but in the coaching level, the standard for coaches is lousy, anyone can be a coach, the most important point again, I stress is the will to encourage players, not needless shouting or outstanding medal producing background.

This aspect is lacking in Singapore, unique to Singapore, we do not need you to be registered or whatever, I guess their mindset is to have a list to protect the children or their own agenda, this is useless in reality, coaches need to have not just a roadmap but a true heart of helping at all levels to let people achieve their goal of working out and eventually happiness not results.

Some communication is needed, just more on the ground things need to be done, that is what is needed now.

Seldom people realise that point, in many cases recently has shown, if you want to know more cases, please google yourself. True to void deck boy style, ownself check ownself.

Mat yo joins Thai League

Mat yo has join Bangkok glass, a class player, calm, cool and many more. The link below shows the official status, he has said to bring at least one cup, indeed a good and most important, a footballer.

The funny thing is that the player in white used to play in Singapore, he has even appeared in movies,  those Thai who are into the media scene will know, I am from Singapore, I was shock to see him in a movie also, that was years ago.

As a person who loves sports, I wish mat yo to score at least 5 goals, I hope for more, which is for Bangkok glass to stay in the top tier for many years to come.

look inside china's sports camps

Living in Singapore, sports is seldom talked about in everyday life, some say because of culture, some say because of life.

For me, this is all rubbish, I saw this video long ago about training camps in china, this link shows china sports camps, a glimpse, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-OGKGmxSbw

From young I like sports, as far as I can remember, most of the coaches were doing selection of a basis which is similar all around the world, your height, weight, even your parents height.

But they do not select the person who has the will to go all the way, never once I was selected for a team which has the means of coaching at a elite or even national level, because all the teams were run like a class, which does not work for sports.

I believe even today with no evidence, it still is the same.

I can even remember once I was not selected because I had no skill, I would like to relate that instance to todays sports scene.

Is china a backward country, I think that it is a joke, china has always been better than Singapore, now and forever, in sports or even economy, the Singapore dollar is stronger or should I say is the china money more smelly.

Some people will just keeping saying, I think it is about time that they treat sports not just for the elites or some teams only, sports is for everyone, even if you are on a wheelchair or disabled.

Sometime I wonder is this country regressing, then when I take a step back I think, then I am awaken, it is the people who are unable to see or choose to not see. The people who are managing are not capable, incompetent and most importantly, fail to see beyond a person physical standards, which is only one point.

Many do not even have interest in sports, let alone do the sport, a good point in the video is, a good base, which is to let everyone do the sports, a good foundation, a good number, even for fun or simply to burn weight.

Everyone can join the team but not everyone can be an olympic gold medallist.

Infighting, bickering, a teacher once even said that having pride for the country is making a mockery. No wonder Singapore is going to fail in sports for a long time.

True to void deck boy style, wayang to the max, anyway thanks to all the readers who still read this blog, see you in the next post.

Tiong Bahru is back or should i say tanjong pagar

A good news is considered great in Singapore sports, not just football. The link below is the whole story.

The team has some faces, samawira the legend of best players still coaching and playing, next some players who can still play can come back and play.

Finally I like that after all this while it stills runs like a football club, the old style that is, tiong bahru style, maybe next woodlands, if woodlands come back, i will try to make time to go see a match if I have free time. Writing is already a luxury, in Singapore either school or work, it is rare to have time to spare.

Best of luck, I wish the comeback club well, please stay true to football.

What has happen in Singapore football ? Warriors football club out

Many things have happen in Singapore football, nothing much has changed, the most biggest lost is warriors fc, gone as of now.

Here is the the link, the important point is that the club has missing payments of a million.

Who is the world has millions of cash to pay for something that has failed, I do not want to talk about the players, only the management, so much trouble.

I wonder without the armed forces support, would the club be a champion, the answer is no.

The fans and onlookers has been asking to shut the league, as I found on forums and small talk among friends. This has been going on for a long time, I guess only winning counts for most people.

True to void deck boy style, you win you cry, you lose you also cry, I can only support with my abilities and by writing here and sharing with people all over the world, which I highly doubt anyone cares anymore.

This blog will still go on, as and when there is some sort of news of stuff, embrace change, if this does not work go another way, as simple as that, this is my suggestion or advise which most likely will go to waste. To those supporters, I wish you this new year a happy one and with good health.
