Farhanna Farid is a powerlifter from singapore and i bless her hardwork and mindset for it.
I think i have wriiten something about this a long time ago, she is a female who has broken records. Lets see the things, dig some, both good and bad.
She is from a minority group in singapore, yet she has a degree, the woke culture of the trend age has spoken. She is from university and has a good job, she must have a good background, without a progressive approach it is highly unlikely for her to achieve success, without support the odds are even lower.
The most important point that i will like to touch on is honesty, there is this video on her, she speaks with a fake accent, then switches and it become singaporean. I sense a lack of identity but still she can become the best at what she does, outstanding. oh ya for those who like the gossip part maybe she has a ang mo or foreign boyfriend, at the end of day it is her choice, we must respect that.
In life, there are many things to learn, especially from sports, one door closes another opens, in the video she bares all, which i found interesting, sharing injuries to hard truths, i cannot help but to applaud her for that.
The impressive part is that, she shows her hand, bleeding, it hurts, imagine the pain, discomfort and suffering, she manages to adjust or phase out, that is also another stunning point that she overcome, adapt or simply block out. This is the period i call the twilight zone, the self doubt some say. This improvisation stage is important, it is the critical learning part and she shares the knowledge out, well done.
In sports, in singapore, i hope some will be at the olympic level, which is very difficult without support, we are not Joseph, whereby his parents are able and fork out and pay, yes pay, most dreams will end at dreams for sporty hopeful youths but miss farhanna has proven you all wrong. I salute you. I will not touch on the difference between olympic lifting and powerlifting, that is for the internet, please chatgpt.
In summary a great sporting hopeful who achieved victory which proves, for arts, music and sports including academics can be combine together, two become one, it is just harder, sometimes you can only choose one, for those kpop hopeful singers or the fine arts painter, do not give up, maybe someday you can if not continue to support with your actions or money and i hope she can continue and maybe coach a olympic medal someday.
